Beauty Hacks Using Eyeshadow

If you can’t find your eyeliner or your highlighter supply running low then Everything’s going to be okay you just need to grab your favorite eyeshadow palette. When it comes to versatile makeup products, eyeshadow is the real MVP. Not sure what else you can do with it? Here are methods for you to use up all the extra eyeshadow you have got lying around!

Apply Eyeliner

Skip the eyeliner and use eyeshadow instead to add a bit of definition to your eyes. Using eyeshadow to line your eyes is a great way to enhance your natural beauty without the harsh dark line.

You can even go for a vibrant color like royal blue or deep purple for a bolder, ultra-glam look! Honestly, what better way is there to use up all the colors (that don’t get much love) in your palettes?

The easiest way to line your eyes with eyeshadow is to wet your brush before dipping it into the powder. Adding a little water to eyeshadow powder will give you a much better color payoff.

Apply Eyeshadow

For a softer brow, ditch the pomade and go with a darker eyeshadow to fill them in.

Compared to other brow products, eyeshadow is more forgiving because it’s easier to control and it takes less time to add some fullness to your brows.

If you are going for the ultimate “no makeup” makeup look, you can use a damp liner brush to create hair-like strokes in sparse areas.

Apply Highlighter

Does anyone else have a serious highlighter problem?

In other words, buying more and more highlighters when you’ve still got a ton of them in your drawer. But who can blame you when they keep coming out with the prettiest iridescent shades.

There are several reasons why you should consider switching things up with eyeshadow. Mainly, the color selection is endless! You have way more colors, shades, and finishes to choose from and you can create your custom highlighter palette.

Rather than buying expensive highlighters (that you never use up), it’ll cost you less to grab a bunch of eyeshadow singles!

Use your finger to mix a couple of different eyeshadows and finishes to create your multi-dimensional shade.

4. Fake a fuller hairline

Let’s be real not everyone was blessed with a full-looking hairline. But the good news? You can use a darker eyeshadow to even out your hairline or to fill in any sparse areas.

Whatever your hairline situation, this can make a huge difference when you’ve got your hair up or even if you’re wearing it down. The trick is to use a shade that matches your roots – not the rest of your hair.

For the ultimate staying power, use a clear brow gel to set it! To add more fullness to your hairline, use a tinted brow gel (in a shade that matches your roots) over your baby hairs.
